  • 1/2 lb Buttercream in a piping bag

  • Small sharp knife
  • Paint brush
  • Cooled boiled water
  • Rolling pin
  • Round cutter set
  • Palette knife
    1. Decorating Instructions:

    2. When your cupcakes are cooled, create a small hole in the centre of each and fill with raspberry jam (optional) then coat the top of the cupcake with a thin layer of buttercream.
    3. Knead the white fondant until pliable. Roll out on a clean dry surface, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Cut out a circle slightly bigger than the top of the cup cake and place over the cupcake.
    4. To create the body of the robot, knead the coloured fondants until pliable. Roll out on a clean dry surface, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Create the various shapes needed with the cutters and a sharp knife. Attach using a small amount of water.
    5. Using the size of the body as a guide, create the head and legs of the robot on the other two cupcakes making sure they are in alignment with the body, using the same method as in step 3. The robots can all be given different personalities through use of different color combinations
